With much sadness we announce the passing of former Head Teacher of Great Crosby, Terry Roose

It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of former Head Teacher of Great Crosby, Terry Roose, who passed away a few weeks ago. Some of you may remember him for his dedication and kindness.

23rd April 2024 Aged 95 Years Passed away peacefully in hospital. Reunited with beloved wife Frances.

Devoted Dad to Jane, Louise, Damian and Helen.

Much loved Father In Law of Julia and John. Loving and proud Grandad of Adele, Ben, Louis, Ella, Michael, James, George, Tommy, Kieran and Imogen and Great Grandad to Patrick, Frances, Annabel, Lydia, Francis, Cillian, Vincent and Brigid.

Cherished Brother of Val, dearly loved Uncle of the late John, Cathy and Anne, and much loved Great Uncle of Sian, Sarah, Ellen and David.

Terry will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends.

Funeral to be held on Thursday 23rd May 2024 at 11.30am at St Charles RC Church, Aigburth Road, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery at 1pm.

Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Terry would be gratefully received by SVP (St Vincent De Paul Society).

Terry has requested that his funeral be a celebration of his life so there is no need to wear black unless you wish to do so.
