Violent Male charged for causing criminal damage and possession of Class A drugs in Southport
At approximately 01:30hrs this morning, 29th January, Police Officers attended The Scarisbrick Hotel, Lord Street, Southport in response to a report of a violent male causing damage at the location.
The male had left the hotel prior to the arrival of patrols, but following a brief area search he was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of causing damage to a couple of doors at the Hotel.
He was taken into custody, where he was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of Class A drugs and further arrested.
Following interview Lee Ellison (46 yrs) from Cheshire, who was a guest at the Hotel was charged with causing criminal damage and possession of Class A drugs. He is due to appear in court on 13th February 2019.
