Three people taken to hospital as Emergency Services Respond to Explosion in Bootle
Fire crews and emergency services were called to Benedict Street in Bootle this afternoon, Thursday 28th November, following reports of an explosion.
The street has been cordoned off while investigations are underway.
North West Ambulance Service has confirmed that three people have been taken to hospital for treatment, while one other person was treated and discharged at the scene.
Photos from the site show significant damage to the front of a residential property, with the bay window blown out and debris, glass, and blinds scattered across the road.
Firefighters remain at the scene to secure the area, and the public is advised to avoid Benedict Street while emergency services manage the situation.
