A frosty start with sunny spells through morning. By midday scattered showers develop with locally heavy showers gradually moving south over the region through afternoon. Showers wintry at times over high ground. Feeling cold especially in the breeze. Maximum temperature 11°C.
Tonight:
During the evening, showers gradually fade and clear southeast with lengthy clear spells developing overnight for most. A cold night with light winds and a widespread frost. Minimum temperature -3°C.
