Stranger Danger as man leaves paper messages in local parks for children

Stranger Danger. !!!!! Please Share this on to all local Litherland, Crosby, Bootle Area Residents and their children. Due to recent reports today a man is alleged to have been leaving paper messages in local parks on children's swings and play areas with a mobile phone number for children to ring. Children have responded to this with curiousity and rang the number.

Subsequently police are investigating this man's behaviour. Please make your children aware of the dangers. They must not ring this number. Especially during the holiday time. All our kids have a mobile to keep safe. This man is preying on this. This is real.

Merseyside Police should be contacted on 999 if anyone finds such items in parks or sees anyone acting suspicious in these areas. Stay Safe in Sefton.
