Stolen car recovered, cloned car used in theft and one car seized after being burnt out in Sefton

Merseyside Police Operation Pelican Officers had managed to recover a stolen vehicle which can now be given back to its owner and also recovered a cloned vehicle on the same night. A third vehicle which was stolen was also recovered and seized but unfortunately burnt out.
SEIZED
Merseyside Police Operation Pelican Officers seized a vehicle on Friday night 29th October which had been burnt out.
Officers located and seized the stolen vehicle in the #Bootle area which had unfortunately been set on fire.

Enquiries are ongoing in the area for CCTV and the vehicle has been recovered for a forensic exam.
RECOVERY
Operation Pelican Officers on Thursday 28th October identified a cloned vehicle that was being used in the Sefton and Liverpool areas.

Colleagues from Central Targeted Team located the vehicle and confirmed it as outstanding stolen from a theft that occurred earlier in the month in the #Bootle area of Sefton.
RECOVERY Operation Pelican Officers on Thursday 28th October recovered a stolen Ford Kuga which had been stolen during a burglary earlier this month.

The vehicle has been recovered for forensic exam before it’ll be reunited with its owner.
