Brooms Cross 25th July 2024 — A serious traffic collision on Brooms Cross prompting a swift response from emergency services. Brooms Cross closed in both directions.

Traffic diverted down Northern perimeter road.

Eyewitnesses report that the incident, involving a black car and another vehicle, has led to significant damage and a rescue operation. Firefighters are currently at the scene, working diligently to extricate individuals trapped inside the second vehicle.

The driver of the black car has been assessed and is receiving medical attention on a nearby grass verge. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
