Sefton school won the Merseyside Dodgeball Country Finals with fantastic sportsmanship from everyone
The Merseyside Dodgeball Country Finals event took place at Greenbank Academy in south Liverpool on Wednesday 22nd March. Primary schools came from all over Merseyside to take part.
St. Jerome's in #Formby represented North Sefton area as they had won the local competition at Formby High in January. They went through to the Merseyside country dodgeball finals.
At the event, St. Jerome's won their group and then went through to the semi-finals which they also won and onto the final against Dovedale Primary School from Liverpool. In the final they won 7 points to 3 points in a close game.
Spokesperson for the school, Mandy Quinn said: "St Jerome's children had an amazing day at the Merseyside Dodgeball Country Finals on Wednesday. Our 5/6 year team won in a very tight final. It was the first competition for 3/4 team and they showed some fantastic sportsmanship in their play. Super proud of you all!"
