Police in Sefton tackle Wildlife Crime Offences with the Environment Agency and Lancashire Taskforce
Merseyside Police Wildlife Crime Unit Officers from Southport Police Station conducted an operation with Lancashire Constabulary South Rural Taskforce and also friends at the Environment Agency.
On Sunday 17th October they interacted with over a hundred people, dealt with five drugs offences and summonsed 28 offenders to court for Wildlife Crime offences.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “We are supporting the environment agency to allow them to continue providing resources and necessities for disabled people, responding to emergency pollution incidents and the brilliant support they provide for communities and clubs alongside the Angling Trust.”
