Operation Pelican Officers have tonight arrested a 20-year-old male in the #Waterloo area for Drug Supply offences and Theft
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “This was after officers attempted to stop a male whom they suspected to be involved in drug supply in the area, the male however made off on foot. Officers have pursued the male and detained him in an alleyway where he discarded a package. This was later recovered and found to contain numerous wraps of suspected Crack Cocaine and Heroin.”
“The male was also found to be in possession of a large quantity of cash suspected to be from the proceeds of crime.”
“Operation Pelican will continue to disrupt criminality in the area and hunt high and low to track those responsible. Just as they have done to locate the drug disguarded pictured above.”
