Police appeal for help tracing Bootle man to help with enquiries after assault and robbery in a shop

Officers investigating a robbery are appealing for help in tracing a man they would like to speak to.

At around 3pm on Monday 10th January a member of staff was assaulted by a male at News Factor on The Esplandade, #Bootle, who then stole a quantity of cash.

Officers believe that 42 year-old Alexander Porter, who is from the Bootle area, may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out to locate him.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with brown hair and green eyes.
