Nominations are now open for The BBC's Community Food Champion Award
Do you know a phenomenal school cook? Or a volunteer chef who puts their all into feeding their community? Perhaps you know someone who can magic up a meal in a prison or a hospital, but who rarely receives recognition for their hard work?
We want to celebrate true food heroes. Those working in food who are making a massive difference to their communities. They could work with isolated older people, vulnerable young people or disadvantaged families to make their lives better.
Nominations close just before midnight on Monday 27 June 2022, so please help us spread the word to celebrate these unsung heroes from all over the UK. The finalists will be visited by our judge Matt Allwright, with their stories featured on Radio 4’s The Food Programme and BBC One’s Morning Live.
