MP and Councillor clear up Deyes Lane filling several bags of rubbish

Bill Esterson MP and Labour councillor James Hansen led a group of volunteers in a clear-up near to Deyes End housing estate #Maghull
The area within the Parkhaven grounds on Deyes Lane had become an eyesore due to dropped litter.
The volunteers filled several bags of rubbish including drinks cans, plant pots and metal containers.
Sefton Central MP Bill Esterson said: “It was good to get out and help clear up a known area that has been an eyesore for a while. Residents should not have to look out of their windows to that view. Having met with representatives from Parkhaven recently the issue was raised with me and I was pleased with the response from volunteers.”
Cllr James Hansen said: “It was a pleasure to join Bill and other Labour activists to clear up this piece of open land which had become a magnet for litter. We filled several bags. Thank you to Sefton Council for providing the bags and taking them away afterwards.”
