Merseyside Police are holding a bike marking event in Maghull after a spate of burglaries involving bikes being stolen.
A spokesperson from Merseyside police said: “We have seen a number of overnight burglaries in the last week within the Maghull area in which bikes have been stolen. We have however seen a number of positive bike recoveries following bike marking events held across Merseyside.”
“In response to these recent burglaries officers from Maghull Neighbourhood Team will be holding a free Bike Register bike marking event on Tuesday 30th August 2022 from 4pm until 6pm at Maghull Community Police Station at Maghull Town Hall.”
“Officers will also be available to offer advice around protecting your property against burglaries. Feel free to come and ask for advice or bring your bike for marking.”
