Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service offer advice after incidents of people stuck in mud

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, RNLI, HM Coastguard, continue to respond to a high number of incidents related to people cut off by the tide or stuck in the mud, particularly in #Wirral & #Crosby areas.

If you're visiting the beach, check the tide and weather forecast. Take a means of calling for help.

Remember, if it looks soft or like mud, it probably is, so stay off! In the event that you do get stuck, follow this safety advice & call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
