FOR OLDER PEOPLE IN FORMBY, HIGHTOWN and INCE BLUNDELL

Formby Befriending Scheme and Formby Luncheon Club, in association with Churches Together in Formby, Altcar and Hightown, are delighted once again to be able to offer a ‘Holiday at Home’ for older people who live in Formby, Hightown and Ince Blundell.

Last year, we had a wonderful time, with many people enjoying several social events over the fortnight and we are confident that this year’s holiday experience won’t disappoint!

The programmes will be available from 1st July onwardsfrom local Churches, Formby Luncheon Club, Formby Library and several other venues around Formby and Hightown, and booking will start immediately.  

Last year, some of the events were booked out and many reached their maximum capacity, so please don’t miss outand book as soon as possible.  If you would like to join any of the activities on offer, there will be space to make a note of these in the back pages of the programme and then you can easily book them with Fiona at the Luncheon Club during July or by contacting Formby Befriending Scheme in August.  Events must be booked at least a week before it takes place.

Transport will once again be available for those who need assistance, and for certain events, but it is essential that this is pre-booked.  Please read the guidelines on the inside front cover and check the booking arrangements on the back page of the Programme.

There will be more details about the individual events on the Luncheon Club Noticeboard, at the corner of Brows Lane and Rosemary Lane, from July onwards.  These will also be posted on the Formby Befriending Scheme Facebook page.
