Green fingered volunteers sought to ‘bash the buckthorn’ and preserve the borough’s unique coastline

Green Sefton are seeking volunteers to help preserve the borough’s unique coastline.

Help is sought to cut and drag Sea Buckthorn out of an area of dunes beside Ainsdale Discovery Centre.

Green Sefton are seeking volunteers to help on the following dates:

Sunday, November 17th  – 10am to 3pm

Saturday November 30th – 10.30am to 3pm

Saturday, December 7th – 10.30am to 3pm

Volunteers will need to wear old clothing, stout footwear and bring sturdy gardening gloves.
