Dispersal Zone in Formby for 48hrs due to antisocial behaviour
There will be a dispersal zone in place, in Formby this evening, Friday 5th November 2021, from 4:00pm for 48 hours until 3:59pm on Sunday 7th November. Please see map for the area covered by the order.
Dispersal zones give Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers, powers to direct individuals who we suspect are causing or likely to cause crime, nuisance or anti-social behaviour out of the area for up to 48 hours. Any breaches of this can lead to arrest.
This is a response to reports of anti-social behaviour in the area, and that's why we are putting this order in place to ensure that members of the public can feel safe. We're also going to have extra officers available in the wider area (Not just the area of the Dispersal Zone), so that you can rest assured we are doing everything we can to tackle anti-social behaviour in your area.
If you have any questions or concerns, remember you can approach any officers you see in the area, or report online on Facebook at the MERSEYSIDE POLICE CONTACT CENTRE page, or on Twitter at @MerPolCC
Alternatively you can report it via our website at https://crowd.in/raKyjB or by dialling 101.
In an emergency, always dial 999.
