Cannabis Farm discovered on Knowsley Road in Bootle
Responding to Community Intelligence, Officers from South Sefton Community Team executed a search warrant in Knowlsey Road #Bootle and discovered a #Cannabis Farm at the location on 22nd October.
This morning, 24th October, the Cannabis Farm is being dismantled, helping to stop criminal gangs fund their criminal activities.
Cannabis Farms are dangerous places and pose a risk of fire; often the electricity meter is illegally bypassed and the circuits are overloaded and near to lots of water carrying pipes.
People working the farms are often victims of human trafficking forced to work against their will.
Profits from cannabis farms often fund other crime such as, dealing in class A drugs, human trafficking, prostitution and the purchasing of firearms.
