Body found on Fisherman’s Path in Formby

The body of a 20 year old male was found on Fisherman’s Path in Freshfield this afternoon.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm emergency services were called to an address on Fishermans Path, Montagu Road in Formby this afternoon, Friday 7 October.” “At around 1pm officers were called to a report that the body of a man in his 20s had been found. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.” “The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.” “Enquiries are ongoing to identify the man and notify his next of kin.” “A file is being prepared for the coroner.”
