After Investigations into recent thefts/burglaries in Southport, police advise keep vehicles locked
Investigations into a recent spate of thefts and burglaries in the Southport area, vehicle owners are advised to keep your cars locked and secure.
In response to the increase in reported crime in the area, Local Policing Team officers based at Southport police station have conducted increased mobile patrols around Scarisbrick Road/Forest Road overnight last week.
Local community police team have also been patrolling in and around the Curzon Road, Langford Drive and Eastbourne Road area in Southport.
A car stolen in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 14th April, was found by PCSO’s who had been making CCTV enquiries into the theft. Whilst the car has been found, investigations continue into this and other recent thefts.
Vehicle owners are advised to keep their vehicles locked and secure.
