A 4-year-old boy fell from a second storey window of a house in Southport

A four-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after falling from the second floor window of a house.
Emergency services were called to Hall Road in Southport this evening, Monday 25th September at around 6:20pm. The 4-year-old had sustained injuries and required urgent medical attention.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services are currently in Southport following reports that a child fell from a second storey window this evening, Monday 25 September.”
“We received a report at around 6.20pm that a four-year-old boy had sustained injuries and required urgent medical attention. He has been taken to hospital by air ambulance."
The North West Air Ambulance landed at Zetland Bowling Club on Zetland Street and the little boy was airlifted to Alder Hey Hospital.
Police have now confirmed that the boy remains in Alder Hey Children's Hospital in a stable condition, after suffering head injuries.
