A 24 year-old man from Blundellsands arrested for conspiracy to use a firearm and supply drugs
Operation Pelican Officers have arrested a 24-year-old male from #Blundellsands for Conspiracy to aquire/use a firearm and Conspiracy to Supply Cocaine, Heroin and Cannabis. This is part of the ongoing Encrochat #OpVenetic Investigations. The arrest happened yesterday, Monday 25th April 2022.
A spokesperson from Merseyside police said: “The male has been wanted by police in relation to the matter since August 2021 and was sighted by officers today in a taxi. This has led Officers to a Apartment in the #Waterloo area where the male was seen to enter.”
“Officers have forced entry and detained the male along with another male whom was present. A quantity of Class A and B drugs were located during a search.”
“A further search of a premises was conducted were over £3000 has been seized by police which is suspected to be from the proceeds of crime.”
“The male remains in custody to be questioned by detectives.”
