Merseyside Fire & Rescue called to a fire at a warehouse in Bootle
Firefighters have been called to a significant fire at a warehouse in Forth Street, Bootle. Crews were alerted at 10.55am and on scene at 10.59am. A spokesperson from Merseyside Fire & Rescue said: "There are four fire engines and a combined platform ladder in attendance. On arrival firefighters found the roof of a traditionally built warehouse well alight." "Crews began to tackle the fire wearing breathing apparatus with main hose jets. The incident is ongoing and residents and businesses nearby are advised to close windows and doors."
