Lift Rescue of 5 occupants at Southport Town Hall
On Saturday 14th April, Merseyside Fire Crews Crews were alerted at 12.08pm to an incident at Southport Town Hall and were on scene at 12.13pm.
A spokesman for Merseyside Fire told the Bubble: "On arrival at the scene, crews discovered that a lift was stuck between floors at the site with five occupants inside. Crews monitored the situation until a lift engineer arrived, whereby they provided assistance to the engineer to move the lift car to the second floor."
"From the second floor, all five people were released from the lift car unharmed."
Three Fire Appliances were on scene for over an hour.
