The Atlantic Sea sails past Formby this morning
In comes the humungous new ACL "Atlantic Sea" past Formby this morning.
The container vessel was built in China this year, but will fly under the GB flag and have Liverpool as its home port.
The beast is capable of making a transatlantic crossing in just six to eight days.
It is going to be officially christened on the waterfront by Princess Anne tomorrow - the first time a ship has got a royal send-off in the city since 1960.
