Bank Staff Branch Out To Spruce Up Park
Bowersdale Park, Seaforth, received some TLC recently, thanks to partnership work between Sefton Council and two Santander branches.
Staff from Santander offices on Bridle Road, Bootle, and a branch in Bradford, teamed up to make a difference to the local greenspace.
Working alongside staff from Sefton Council, the green fingered bankers helped cut back shrubs and over-hanging tree branches to improve the overall look of the park.
The improvements followed recent works undertaken by Sefton Council to create a new multi-use games area in the park. The facility which provides an enclosed area to play games such as football, basketball and cricket is proving very popular.
Sefton Council appreciates the support of all volunteers in helping to enhance the local environment for the benefit of the whole community and is always keen to hear from local companies who would like to get involved in helping to improve parks in their area.
